返鄉橫渡太平洋的班機上,
雀躍興奮的心情轉成疲憊的狀態.
闔上雜誌我準備休息.
妹問我要不要看看她剛完成的詩.
"待會吧" 我這麼地回....
在我暫歇睜眼後又看到妹的殷切目光.
"現在你可以看我的詩嗎?" 妹問.
"這是獻給妳的~" 妹說.
讀完詩, 我臉上漾起笑容.
感動她自豪她的文化背景.
也欣慰她珍惜這個跨洋之旅.
跟大家分享~~

A world away
A different day
Will put me in a new place,
With a different taste...
Traveling for miles
Will bring me new smiles.
Traveling will take me to a whole different country
With a complete difference lifestyle than those like me.
I'm ready to step to a place far away
And happy that for a while, there I'll get to stay.
With new adventures and places to explore
New restaurants, streets, and many more
Many things for me to do,
and this is all because of you.
I'm excited to visit this other city,
From my usual town, and I am ready
To see all these sights I won't get to see
Once we fly back across this sea.
Thank you for taking me to this whole other world
That'll bring me stories that are now untold.
I love this city,
I love it really :)

I haven't been back for a while since.
I'm happy to be going back to this place
And I want to give you my thanks :)

A different day
Will put me in a new place,
